What does NICKEL FREE mean?

Nickel-Free plating. Nickel-Free Plating is a type of hypoallergenic plating. Unfortunately, some people are sensitive to it.

Why is NICKEL FREE important?

When the plating or overlay wears, even microscopically, and allergic reaction to the nickel in the base metal can occur. Nickel is in a majority of metal items we use because it is inexpensive and adds durability as well as luster to other metals.

What kind of jewelry is nickel free?
