HAND (How to measure your WIDTH SIZE)

Wrap a tailor’s measuring tape around your dominant hand just below the knuckles, excluding your thumb, and make a fist. Your dominant hand is the hand you use to hold a pen. This measurement is your “hand width” glove size.

OPTIONS

Concentrate on the length data as the primary glove sizing over width. Hand length is more important because you don’t want glove fingers that are too long. If you have a heavy, muscular hand, using width can push you up a size, and the fingers may be too long, causing a loss in dexterity.

For small hand sizes, if your index finger is shorter than your middle finger by 1/4 of an inch to 5/16 of an inch, we recommend going down one size. And with larger hands, go down a size if your index finger is shorter than your middle finger by 1/2 an inch.The way that a glove design can stay snug on a range of hand types is STRETCH. The more stretch in the glove material the better the glove will accommodate large diameter muscular fingers. Glove leather is not the highest stretch material used in gloves. Knit textile has higher stretch than leather.

Consider gloves that are not all leather. A really good option is a seamless knit glove.

This is soooo beautiful and warm, soft and not itchy at all. IGNORE the reviews about this not being for tall women or plus size women or any of that nonsense. I am 5 10 and built like Rosie the Rivetter, so the idea that people are saying that this only works on tiny women is absurd. This is a beautiful piece designed to look good and feel good on all different body types. It is extremely flattering. I have a feeling I am going to be buying more of these in different colors 🙂

It is cute… but holy static! Will definitely need to avoid the dryer and probably needs a few sprays of static guard. It fits a bit snugger than I expected based on other reviews, but is wearable (especially when we get rid of that static cling.) The grey was not what I expected based on my screen colours – had more of a purple undertone – but again, it is wearable.

My new favourite one !!! I LOVE hats and scarves and snuggly stuff, and own many scarves, so I originally intended to buy this just as a present, but bought myself one too. The size is just right. Its not too thick and scratchy like some woollen ones are, yet its thick enough to keep me warm. Even though its only made of acrylic and not expensively made, it feels nice and I love the colours too. Im now about to buy another one in the wine red tartan style.

This is one of my favourite shops on the Danforth. I'm glad everything is still online because I just bought a purse... from them for the first time this way. From experience, I know I'll be happy when it arrives. I've spent years loving the jewelry I bought from here, it's all so finely made without being gaudy and so so pretty. And the workers there are so sweet and friendly, I think that's actually what I miss most from my experience in walk-in shopping here. The camaraderie with the shop owners, talking to them about our day to day lives. I highly recommend shopping here and when things open up again I know I'll be visiting them first thing on the Danforth!read more

Very disappointed and mislead. Im a long time resident of the area and have shopped here before. I went in one day and... asked where the gemstones were as they appeared online, the owner didn't help much and didn't tell me any answers. As I left the store I noticed Gemstones&Co. is upstairs and carried all the pieces I was asking her about. They had mentioned they used to have their products in shop downstairs however they've since taken them back.
