Simply get your cloth measuring tape and place it around your head over your occipital bone (the furthest part on the back of your head).
Quick Tips
There is no such thing as an overall correct fit. You must ensure your hat fits the way YOU want it to. It is entirely a matter of personal preference and whatever feels right to you. A tighter fitting hat stays on better for people who are active – think a festival or day at the beach, your hat will also sit higher on your head. I bought two of these for gifts in different colors and then bought one for myself. In particular, Scarf !! I truly love it. Since I did not have mine gift wrapped I was able to check it out. Huge, soft and pretty. I haven not tried it out in the cold yet but it will definitely keep my neck warm. Really good value for the money. It also came in way earlier than expected. I am looking for another occasion to buy one for for someone else but it will probably be couple of more for myself.
